Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Provider Enablement Consultant (PEC) to oversee clinical management and quality for Optum Behavioral Health's value-based programs. You will build provider relationships, monitor performance, and drive improvements across clinical outcomes and efficiency.

The PEC collaborates with multiple teams to affect desired outcomes and supports providers through education, audits, and quality initiatives. Remote work from anywhere in the U.S. is allowed.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted master’s-level clinician in psychology, social work, counseling, or RN with state licensure.
• 3+ years post-licensure direct behavioral health clinical experience.
• 1+ years in a managed care setting.
• 1+ years performing analysis, reporting, and data analytics in healthcare.
• Excel proficiency (Microsoft Office) required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with provider leadership and clinical staff.
• Facilitate oversight meetings with providers to monitor performance.
• Monitor program metrics, quality outcomes, and contract adherence.
• Identify performance improvements through data analysis.
• Communicate interventions to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Lead Quality Improvement Plans and provider audits.
• Provide clinical and care coordination support and training.
