Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote Behavioral Health Navigator to guide individuals and families through accessing mental health services. This fully remote role uses telehealth tools to assess needs and connect clients with providers and resources.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, 4+ years in clinical settings, and licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Strong organization and communication skills are essential for coordinating care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting or as a health navigator.
• Licensed or registered (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in at least one jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments via virtual channels.
• Provide information about mental health conditions and treatments.
• Assist clients with insurance benefits and coverage navigation.
• Facilitate referrals to psychiatrists, therapists, and groups.
• Develop relationships with providers and community orgs.
• Track client progress and follow up on care.
• Maintain confidential records per privacy regulations.
• Educate clients on self-management and coping strategies.
• Stay updated on behavioral health care and telehealth best practices.
