Job summary

Cyera is hiring a Business Development Representative in Chicago, seeking a self-motivated sales professional to prospect via phone, email, and LinkedIn. You will educate prospects on modern data security, qualify leads, and coordinate with Enterprise Sales.

Expect a high-energy role with room for growth, remote options, and a strong compensation package. The role emphasizes relationship-building, outbound messaging, and learning the Cyera Data Security Platform while exceeding pipeline goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, strong communication skills and metric-driven mindset.
• Experience or interest in building a long-term sales career in B2B SaaS.
• Coachable, high-energy team player with attention to detail.
• Experience with SDR/BDR or inside sales in a B2B SaaS company preferred.
• Cloud/data security industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use Salesforce and other sales tools to build lead lists and craft outbound messaging.
• Prospect into accounts in your territory and qualify leads for Enterprise Sales.
• Initiate conversations with key decision-makers at target companies.
• Manage inbound inquiries and lead management.
• Learn Cyera Data Security Platform and industry trends to stay competitive.
• Exceed daily activity targets and quarterly pipeline goals.
• Engage with mid and senior-level executives in the security space.
