Job summary

BSI seeks a high-energy Business Development Representative in the United States to generate leads, set meetings, and drive the sales process. You will research trends, engage with decision makers, and support the regional growth plan while representing the BSI brand nationwide with work-from-home flexibility.

You will maintain strong phone presence, meet metrics, and collaborate with sales and marketing to expand customer relationships in environmental, health, and safety services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of proven success with phone sales.
• Terrific and persuasive phone presence.
• Understanding of consultative selling.
• Self-motivated and accountable to metrics.
• Strong networking skills.
• Great phone presence and communication skills.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce.com or similar).
• Computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Generate own leads using tools like social media and directories.
• Secure meetings with top-level decision makers.
• Deliver about 100 calls per week and track data accurately.
• Collaborate with sales team to identify needs and schedule appointments.
• Support marketing, advertising and promotional activities.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and report on activity and pipeline.
• Explain ESG services clearly; on-the-job training provided.
