Job summary

Steer is seeking a Business Development Representative to scale outbound efforts into the mid-market auto repair segment. You will create opportunities from scratch, navigate multi-location organizations, and guide prospects through a longer consultative sales process.

This fully remote US-based role includes a 65k base salary plus 25-35k variable (90-100k OTE) and a comprehensive benefits package, equity, and growth opportunities within a collaborative, high-ownership culture.

Qualifications

• BDR or SDR experience with outbound prospecting into multi-location organizations.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and activity metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with phone-based outreach.
• Experience performing product demonstrations and consultations.

Responsibilities

• Drive outbound growth with a high volume of calls and outreach.
• Navigate complex organizations and engage multiple stakeholders.
• Master the product and communicate value during demos.
• Use a consultative selling approach to address needs across a growing organization.
• Maintain meticulous CRM records for longer sales cycles.
• Qualify opportunities and collaborate with the mid-market sales team.
