Job summary

Pressable, part of Automattic, is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Representative to drive early sales activities for WordPress hosting. You’ll manage inbound leads, qualify prospects, and set up meetings for senior team members while leveraging AI tools to improve speed and quality of outreach.

Responsibilities

• Inbound Lead Qualification: Manage inbound leads by responding to inquiries, identifying opportunities, and qualifying prospects.
• Prospect Engagement: Create interest and excitement around Pressable’s WordPress hosting solutions.
• Meeting Scheduling: Set up and schedule meetings for senior sales team members.
• Product Education: Educate prospects about Pressable’s features and benefits.
• CRM Management: Track interactions and update lead data in the CRM.
• Collaboration: Work with the senior sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and deals progress.
• Customer Expansion & Retention: Engage with existing customers to identify expansion opportunities and support retention.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with Pressable’s product offerings and AI-enabled sales practices.
• AI-Assisted Sales Execution: Use AI tools for prospect research, call prep, follow-ups, and deal summaries.
• Signal & Insight Capture: Capture transcripts and AI-generated insights to reflect needs and next steps in CRM.
• Feedback Loop Participation: Share AI-driven insights to improve playbooks and product feedback loops.
• Own monthly qualified meeting and pipeline generation targets, consistently hitting or exceeding benchmarks.
