Job summary

Pangea is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand strategic customer relationships across the Northeast from a remote base in the United States.

This consultative sales role targets industrial asset owners in oil & gas, power, utilities, and related heavy industries, selling integrated inspection, testing, monitoring, reliability, and asset-integrity solutions to improve safety, uptime, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, engineering, inspection, reliability, or asset-management services.
• Experience selling into oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities, or heavy industry sectors.
• Proven ability to win new accounts and manage complex sales cycles.
• Strong communication and ability to sell on value rather than price.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a Northeast territory plan focused on new business and strategic accounts.
• Develop relationships with operations, maintenance, reliability, integrity, engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
• Identify, qualify, and close opportunities for inspection, engineering, reliability, and asset-integrity services.
• Lead solution-based sales conversations and translate technical capabilities into customer value.
• Partner with internal technical and operational teams to scope work and develop proposals.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, close, and account expansion.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasts, and account plans.
• Travel regionally for customer meetings, site visits, events, and networking.
