Wellthy is seeking a Part Time Payment Specialist to process backup care payments across reimbursement and direct-pay paths. You will verify documents, apply contract terms, and communicate with members and providers, reporting to the Director of Finance.

No degree is required, and you’ll handle money with accuracy while learning client-specific policies in a remote, SLA-driven role across the United States.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, cashiering, or similar money handling roles preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply multiple client contract terms and payment policies.

Responsibilities

• Review and process backup care payment requests per client terms.
• Verify receipts, invoices, and banking details for accuracy.
• Calculate reimbursement and direct-pay amounts according to contracts.
• Communicate payment status with members and providers.
• Maintain accurate records of all reimbursement and direct-pay transactions.
