Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Backend Architect to design, build, and operate large-scale, high-throughput backend services powering mission-critical workloads. You will architect core platforms that other teams rely on, focusing on scalability, reliability, performance, and clean engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Six+ years of professional backend engineering experience, with distributed systems focus.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go or Scala.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts (consensus, replication, CAP).
• Hands-on experience with high-throughput messaging systems (Kafka).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Architect data partitioning, replication, and consistency strategies.
• Build resilient APIs and event-driven services with observability.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and cost through profiling and load testing.
• Lead architecture reviews and trade-off analyses.
• Implement robust failure-handling patterns (retries, timeouts, circuit breakers).
• Design and operate data stores at scale (relational, NoSQL, document, search).
• Build observability with logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Drive incident response and post-incident learning.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and promote design quality.
• Collaborate with SRE and platform teams to improve reliability.
• Contribute to long-term architecture and multi-year roadmaps.
