Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of post-internship, full-time, professional software development experience in large-scale distributed systems
• Experience with Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby and building scalable services

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering to implement product strategy and build new features for the Comments page
• Contribute to the full development cycle: design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch; review code and design docs
• Contribute to team strategy, encourage participation in planning and decision making
• Help establish standards to improve developer workflows and practices
• Balance rapid delivery with quality, avoiding show-stopping bugs while delivering new products
• Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities
