Reddit is seeking a high-impact software engineer for the Moderation organization. This role is fully remote friendly within the United States, with optional in-office days at San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago.

You will help moderators scale communities by building features that empower content governance and safe discussion. You will work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to execute strategy, participate in the full development cycle, review

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software development experience in an enterprise environment.
• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency with Go or Python; familiarity with other languages a plus.
• Experience designing and implementing maintainable APIs (GraphQL/REST).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to build features for moderators.
• Contribute to the full development cycle: design, develop, test, and launch; review code and specs.
• Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical skills.
