Re:Build Manufacturing is seeking a senior backend engineer to ship reliable, scalable services powering an AI-native platform for hardware development. You will turn unstructured inputs into structured artifacts and orchestrate ambient AI agents for proactive coordination.

You will work hands-on daily, shape system design decisions, and help establish backend engineering best practices as the team grows, with a bias toward high-quality, maintainable code.

Competenze

• 5+ years building production backend systems with 3+ years in Python.
• Proficient with AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude).
• Strong experience with FastAPI or similar async Python frameworks.
• PostgreSQL production experience incl. schema design, migrations, optimizations.
• Experience with containerized deployments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding API design, authentication (OIDC/JWT), and service architecture.
• Hands-on with background processing (Celery, Redis).
• Balance rapid iteration with maintainable, well-tested code.

Mansioni

• Design and implement RESTful APIs with OpenAPI specs and generated SDKs.
• Develop ingestion pipelines and extract structured artifacts from unstructured inputs.
• Build agentic AI workflows for data extraction, risk detection, and coordination.
• Integrate LLM APIs with streaming, error handling, and cost optimization.
• Deploy and operate services on GCP with Terraform.
• Write well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
