Re:Build Manufacturing is building an AI-powered platform for hardware product development. This senior AI engineer role focuses on designing and operating agents that understand hardware workflows, surface risks, and deliver proactive summaries and delivers outputs.

You will work with LangChain DeepAgent and contribute to AI architecture decisions. You will balance rapid experimentation with production-grade reliability, collaborating with frontend and backend teams to ship robust AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience.
• 2+ years focused on bringing LLM-based applications or agent systems to market.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools to accelerate development.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic systems using orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate on LLM-powered agents that coordinate across engineering disciplines and surface project risks.
• Own the agent orchestration layer and evaluate extending or replacing it as new frameworks emerge.
• Connect agents to external systems via APIs and integrations.
• Design and tune prompts, chains, and retrieval strategies for reliability and usefulness.
• Build observability and cost-tracking for agent performance and latency.
• Develop streaming agent interfaces showing real-time progress and reasoning.
