Black Spectacles is seeking a proactive Account Manager to support growth of our B2C client relationships. You’ll collaborate with sales and marketing to deliver a world-class client experience through account support, relationship management, and engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, client-focused, and eager to advance in account management or client success. This role offers remote work, uncapped commissions, and a clear path to growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 2–4+ years in account management with a sales component.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell, cross-sell, or grow existing accounts.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a relationship-first approach.
• Self-starter comfortable without a fully built CRM on day one.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing high-volume accounts.
• HubSpot experience preferred; Intercom and Stripe a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own outbound and inbound engagement with Black Spectacles' B2C subscribers, focusing on upselling to the expert tier.
• Convert inbound prospects asking which subscription tier to choose.
• Manage cancellation saves and build engagement pipelines for paused subscribers.
• Handle a limited volume of customer service tickets (about 10%).
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to organize B2C customer data in HubSpot and establish a sales pipeline.
• Track engagement and account health metrics to inform outreach priorities.
• Contribute ideas and playbooks to scale this function and maintain records in HubSpot.
