You will design and operate cloud, databases, data pipelines, and observability foundations supporting AI security products and delivery systems. Responsibilities include building reliable cloud services, modeling diverse data stores, and improving monitoring, cost controls.

Qualifications

• No specific degree is required.
• Strong software or infrastructure engineering background.
• Experience with production databases and cloud platforms.
• Automation discipline to diagnose and improve real systems.
• AWS, Python, SQL, serverless, IaC, data governance, or regulated environments preferred.

Job description

Data Science & Engineering Experts, Inc. is accepting applications now for a full-time W-2 Platform & Data Engineer. This is a 100% remote role open to candidates authorized to work in the United States. The engineer builds and operates the cloud, database, data-pipeline, and observability foundations behind DSE's AI security products and delivery systems.

Responsibilities include designing reliable cloud services and deployment paths; modeling and operating relational, document, and analytical data stores; building auditable ingestion and transformation pipelines; improving monitoring, recovery, and cost controls; and partnering with product, AI, and security engineers on tenant and data boundaries. Qualifications include strong software or infrastructure engineering, production database and cloud experience, automation discipline, and a record of diagnosing and improving real systems. Experience with AWS, Python, SQL, serverless systems, infrastructure as code, data governance, or regulated environments is preferred. No specific degree is required.

The anticipated base salary is $140,000 to $180,000 per year.
