Job summary

Flowerbuyer, part of Teleflora’s family, seeks a self-driven Business Development Associate for its B2B flower-buying platform. The role focuses on high-volume outbound outreach, building strong relationships with florists, and expanding our top accounts while leveraging strong product savings and support from our logistics team.

The position is hourly plus commission and can be remote, with a focus on growing accounts and reactivating inactive customers across national markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of sales experience; floral industry experience a plus.
• Experience with outbound sales, CRM, or account development preferred.
• Experience with prospecting, customer retention, objection handling and reactivating inactive customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with Teleflora florists and non-Teleflora florists.
• Call on and develop relationships with key retailers to introduce products and savings.
• Coordinate with internal teams to offer custom solutions to top accounts.
• Use order entry, call tracking, and contact management software.
• Participate in sales, product and process training as required.
• Meet/exceed daily telephone selling targets to florists.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
