Job summary

Flowerbuyer is seeking a self-driven Business Development Associate for Flowerbuyer.com to grow a portfolio of retail florists. You will build lasting relationships with Teleflora and non-Teleflora florists, driving savings and value with high-volume outreach and strategic account development.

You will leverage CRM tools, participate in ongoing training, and work remotely to meet aggressive sales targets while supporting internal teams to deliver tailored floral solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of entering a new industry and building a book of business.
• Ability to close and manage relationships -- both in person and over phone.
• Successful track record of new lead generation and ability to overcome customer objections.
• Customer-obsessed mindset.
• Strong time management, communication, and execution skills required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Must display a strong desire to achieve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with Teleflora florists and non-Teleflora florists.
• Call upon major retail florists via phone and Teams to introduce products and savings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to offer tailored solutions for top accounts.
• Use order entry, call tracking, and contact management software.
• Participate in sales, product, and process training as required.
• Meet and exceed daily telephone selling targets with florists.
• Additional duties as assigned.
