Job summary

Teleflora, part of The Wonderful Company, is seeking a self-driven Business Development Associate for Flowerbuyer.com. You will grow a portfolio of retail florists, leveraging top-tier products, industry-wide pricing, and expert logistics to drive revenue.

You will build lasting florist relationships, present tailored solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize account potential and savings for customers. This role offers hourly compensation with commission and can be remote.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in a sales role focused on prospecting and developing new business.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport and trust with Teleflora florists and non-Teleflora partners.
• Call upon and develop relationships with key retail florists via phone, Skype, and in-person meetings.
• Develop, implement, and execute sales presentations to meet targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide custom solutions for Top Accounts with high potential.
• Prepare reports for Inside Sales management and use order entry/contact management tools.
• Meet daily time-on-phone goals and continuously seek new leads and opportunities.
• Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive service and follow-up.
