Job summary

Flowerbuyer.com, part of Teleflora, is seeking a self-driven Business Development Associate for our B2B online flower-buying platform. This hourly plus commission role is remote and focuses on high-volume outreach to florists, building lasting accounts, and driving significant order volume.

You will develop relationships, handle objections, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for top accounts while leveraging our market-leading prices and logistics experts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-3 years of sales experience; floral industry experience is a plus
• Experience with outbound sales, CRM or account development preferred
• Experience with prospecting, customer retention, objection handling and reactivating inactive customers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport and trust with Teleflora florists and non-Teleflora florists
• Call upon and develop relationships with key retail florists via phone and Teams to introduce products and savings
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide custom solutions to top accounts
• Use order entry, call tracking, and contact management software
• Participate in sales, product and process training
• Meet and exceed daily telephone selling targets with florists
• Additional duties as assigned
