Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Collections Coordinator to manage and resolve accounts receivable within an assigned portfolio. This US-based, fully remote position supports multiple time zones while aligning with Mountain Time office hours.

You will drive timely collections, interact with customers professionally, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. A strong background in AR, B2B collections, and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Accounts Receivable and/or Business to Business collections experience.
• Experience with project management billing including retainage and progress billings preferred.
• Exposure to contract collections, liens and coordinating with law offices on accounts preferred.
• Strong customer service background, preferably in technical or service industries.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel; ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work full-time hours in Mountain Time Zone.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone and email to collect overdue balances while maintaining relationships.
• Encourage online payments via the company website portal and assist navigation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and meet monthly goals.
• Reconcile accounts and document notes; resolve disputes quickly and accurately.
• Monitor collections metrics and escalate problem accounts as needed.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance collections efficiency and customer experience.
• Stay informed on regulations and ensure compliant collections practices.
• Maintain professionalism and positive relationships with customers.
