Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure reliability, availability, security, and performance of applications and infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

You will manage production workloads, implement scalable Azure cloud solutions, and collaborate with security and network teams to improve platform resilience. This remote USA role offers an incentive program based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and production workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of IaC, observability, and security.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage production and non-production workloads on Azure for reliability.
• Troubleshoot Azure services like VMs, App Services, AKS, and networking.
• Design scalable, highly available Azure cloud solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, diagnostics, dashboards, and alerting.
• Develop IaC to automate Azure provisioning.
• Support incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Automate repetitive ops to reduce manual work.
