Cognizant is seeking an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, availability, performance, scalability, and security of Azure-based applications and infrastructure.

The role emphasizes hands-on Azure services, DevOps, IaC, observability, automation, and production support. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve stability and resilience of the Azure platform while maintaining strong incident and change management practices.

Formación

• Experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer focusing on reliability, performance, and security of Azure-based apps.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure services, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Proficient in IaC (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) and automation to reduce toil.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and support production and non-production workloads on Microsoft Azure, ensuring reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot Azure services including VMs, App Services, AKS, Key Vault, Load Balancers and networking.
• Design and maintain scalable, highly available Azure cloud solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop IaC to automate provisioning and configuration of Azure infrastructure.
• Automate operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
• Support Azure security, identity, access management, and governance.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams on vulnerabilities and patching.
• Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management.
