Job summary
Cognizant is seeking an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, performance, scalability, and security of applications hosted on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, IaC, observability, automation, security, and production support.
This role will be responsible for maintaining highly available Azure environments, improving operational reliability, automating repetitive activities,
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and production workloads.
- Strong knowledge of SRE practices and DevOps in cloud environments.
- Experience with IaC, monitoring, security, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Manage production and non-production workloads on Azure, ensuring reliability and security.
- Troubleshoot Azure services (VMs, App Services, AKS, networking) and optimize performance.
- Design scalable, highly available cloud solutions and automate deployments.
- Maintain monitoring, logging, diagnostics, dashboards, and alerting using Azure tools.
- Apply SRE principles to improve platform stability and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and IaC tooling.
