Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Cloud Operations Manager to lead and evolve its internal IT and cloud operations. This senior-level role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution across Azure infrastructure, identity management, security operations, and compliance.

You will partner with Engineering, Security, Finance, HR, and business stakeholders to drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and audit readiness while shaping the cloud strategy for a growing technology-driven organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Azure cloud experience including governance, subscriptions and identity management.
• Hands-on with security operations, endpoint management, and identity/access controls.
• Experience with audit and compliance frameworks such as SOX or SOC 2.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the organization's Azure environment, governance, security, and cost optimization.
• Lead identity and access management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, MFA, and privileged access controls.
• Establish and maintain security baselines, incident escalation processes, and operational best practices.
• Oversee core business systems, SaaS applications, observability platforms, and vendor relationships.
• Drive improvements in onboarding, offboarding, help desk escalation, and IT service delivery.
• Ensure audit readiness and support compliance initiatives, including access reviews and evidence collection.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Finance, HR, and business stakeholders to support operational excellence.
