Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a hands-on Cloud & On-Prem Compute Infrastructure Manager to lead strategy, design, and operations across Azure and on‑prem environments. You will guide a team of infrastructure engineers and partner with Cybersecurity, Architecture, and business leaders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes cloud modernization, automation, disaster recovery, and cost management, with a focus on reliability and collaboration across IT.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
3+ years leading technical teams or infrastructure initiatives.
Experience managing hybrid cloud environments and migrating workloads to Microsoft Azure.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, PowerShell scripting, and infrastructure automation.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the enterprise compute environment across Azure and on‑premises infrastructure.
Develop infrastructure roadmaps and drive cloud modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient infrastructure services that support business operations.
Lead major infrastructure incidents and drive root cause analysis and service improvements.
Manage Microsoft Azure services, Windows Server, Linux, Hyper‑V, virtualization, enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
Lead cloud migration, infrastructure lifecycle, capacity planning, and technology refresh initiatives.
Partner with Cybersecurity to strengthen infrastructure security and maintain compliance.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure engineers.
