Job summary

Huxley in New York City is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale modern cloud and hybrid infrastructure. You will own automation, observability, and platform reliability from day one.

The role emphasizes building from scratch rather than maintaining legacy systems, with ownership over architecture and deployment processes in a fast-growing financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Infrastructure/Platform Engineering or DevOps background.
• Deep cloud expertise across architecture, deployment and operations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
• CI/CD pipeline design and administration.
• Monitoring and observability experience.
• Scripting in Python and/or Bash.
• Strong networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Build scalable, secure, and highly available solutions for business-critical systems.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and operational processes using IaC.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve delivery and reliability.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting across the infrastructure estate.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, risk, and compliance teams on platform initiatives.
• Manage networking, connectivity, security controls, and cloud services.
• Drive infrastructure modernization through automation and engineering best practices.
