Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer to advance cloud-based federal solutions. This remote role supports the Veterans Affairs (VA) department and requires a strong AWS DevSecOps background to design, implement, and secure scalable cloud architectures. You will lead CI/CD automation, cloud security practices, and multi-account management while aligning with VA policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering focused on AWS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• U.S. Citizenship required for this opportunity
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI)
• Experience with Edifecs and healthcare EDI is preferred

Responsibilities

• Migrate and manage AWS infrastructure with high availability
• Design data/architecture diagrams for cloud infra and apps
• Develop and operate CI/CD automation
• Manage cloud permissions and security controls
• Ensure compliance with VA and federal policies
