Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC seeks an Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer to lead cloud migration, CI/CD automation, and AWS security for VA environments. The role demands deep AWS expertise, IaC, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams in a remote setup.

Experience with HIPAA/GDPR/PCI DSS is a plus; US citizenship required and Public Trust (MBI) clearance preferred. This is a full-time, remote position within the U.S. with on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud engineering experience, AWS-focused.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead migration to the cloud.
• Create data/architecture diagrams for Cloud Infra.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate CI/CD automation.
• Manage cloud permissions for each service.
• Design monitoring for cloud architectures and services.
• Provide cloud support for VA Enterprise Cloud environments.
• Support VIP development, release, and documentation requirements.
• Advise on CI/CD practices and tooling.
• Provide cloud security documentation.
• Design VAEC/cloud-hosted solutions and address readiness gaps.
