Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking an Edifecs DevSecOps Engineer to lead cloud migration and secure cloud deployments for VA-related environments. This remote role requires deep AWS expertise, and compliance with VA and federal policies.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and monitor CI/CD pipelines, manage multi-account AWS setups, and ensure robust security and cost optimization across VAEC environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the migration to the cloud.
• Create data flow diagrams and high-level diagrams for cloud infra, apps, and systems.
• Design, develop, deploy, and operate automation for CI/CD.
• Manage permissions in cloud environments for each app and storage resource.
• Monitor cloud architecture and hosted systems for performance and compliance.
