Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AWS Cloud Ops Engineer to monitor, operate, and support AWS infrastructure across production and non-production environments. You will perform health checks, configure CloudWatch and Dynatrace, investigate incidents, manage backups and logs, and assist with deployments in a remote setup.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT infrastructure or cloud operations and 3+ years AWS experience, with relevant certifications and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud operations experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS operations experience preferred.
• Experience with production AWS workloads, monitoring tools, and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily AWS cloud infrastructure health checks and validation.
• Configure CloudWatch and Dynatrace dashboards, alarms, and alerts.
• Investigate alerts for outages, performance issues, and anomalies.
• Manage EBS snapshots, backups, and reporting for EC2/RDS.
• Administer VPC Flow Logs, EC2 logs, S3 access, and cross-account sharing.
• Support deployments by executing approved runbooks and rollback steps.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and support TriZetto Facets activities.
