Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Lead—AWS DevSecOps for a remote role in the USA. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and secure deployment frameworks across multi-account AWS environments.

Key focus areas include IaC with Terraform and AWS CDK, GitLab CI/CD, container platforms (ECS/EKS, Kubernetes), and strong emphasis on security, observability, and compliance. Eligible for Cognizant’s incentive program.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services (10+ years preferred).
• Hands-on Terraform and AWS CDK experience.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and pipeline automation.
• Container platforms (ECS/EKS, Kubernetes) experience.
• DevSecOps tools and security integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines with multi-stage YAML.
• Configure and manage GitLab Runners (EC2/EKS-based).
• Optimize pipeline performance with parallelism and caching.
• Implement automated release management with tagging and rollback.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and AWS CDK with modular design.
• Automate provisioning of AWS services across multiple accounts/regions.
• Implement blue/green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.
• Automate deployment to ECS/EKS and manage Kubernetes via Helm.
• Implement security controls within CI/CD pipelines (SAST/DAST).
• Enable PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR compliance reporting.
• Design end-to-end observability with CloudWatch and external tools.
