Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Lead for AWS DevSecOps to architect, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure and secure deployment frameworks. You will lead CI/CD pipelines, Terraform and CDK IaC, and multi-account AWS environments.

Remote US role with strong emphasis on security, observability, and compliance. You will design pipelines, manage ECS/EKS deployments, and integrate security controls across the software delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AWS cloud experience preferred.
• Deep Terraform and AWS CDK expertise.
• Hands-on GitLab CI/CD and pipeline automation.
• Strong container experience with ECS/EKS and Kubernetes.
• Proficient in DevSecOps tooling and security integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
• Manage GitLab Runners (EC2/EKS) focusing on scalability and security.
• Build IaC with Terraform and AWS CDK for modular architectures.
• Enforce secure CI/CD practices with SAST/DAST and secret management.
• Implement blue/green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies.
• Oversee multi-account AWS environments with CDK pipelines.
• Develop end-to-end observability with CloudWatch, Datadog, and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD, infra, and runtime issues to ensure high availability.
