Cognizant is seeking an AWS Cloud Ops Engineer to monitor, operate, and support AWS cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments. The role focuses on daily health checks, CloudWatch and Dynatrace monitoring, incident investigation, and backup validation for EC2/RDS, with additional duties around VPC logs, DNS, firewall tasks, and deployment runbooks.

Competenze

• 5+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, production support, or systems engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS operations experience preferred.
• Experience supporting production AWS workloads and incident response processes.
• Strong communication, documentation, and on-call readiness.
• Preferred certifications in AWS and Dynatrace are a plus.

Mansioni

• Perform daily AWS cloud infrastructure health checks, including disk space validation and instance readiness.
• Configure and enhance monitoring using CloudWatch and Dynatrace with dashboards and alarms.
• Investigate alerts for outages, performance issues, and anomalies.
• Configure notifications to on-call for critical events.
• Manage EBS snapshots, backups, and reporting for EC2/RDS.
• Handle VPC Flow Logs, EC2 logs, S3 access policies, and cross-account sharing.
• Troubleshoot outages, DNS zones, firewall changes, and access issues.
• Support deployments by running approved runbooks and weekend communications.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and support TriZetto Facets installation.
