Job summary

Morley is hiring a Technical Automotive Consultant to support field service technicians from a home office in Florida. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, chat and email, focusing on EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain or infotainment systems for domestic vehicles.

The role includes an initial training program in Saginaw, Michigan, with ongoing access to the latest repair data and collaboration from peers and leaders. Strong ASE credentials and a solid customer-service background are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of automotive engine, electrical, drivetrain and infotainment systems.
• Able to use electronic service manuals.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of recent experience as a mechanic in a full-service shop.
• Two ASE certifications (or you can get them within six months of hire).
• Valid driver's license.
• One or more years of customer service experience.
• Shifts Monday–Friday, no weekends; reliable schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical experience to assist field service techs through inbound and outbound phone, chat and email.
• Specialize in automotive EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain or infotainment systems, providing expert help on domestic vehicle repairs.
• Begin with an initial training program in Saginaw, Michigan to support field techs from a home office.
• Access the latest technical data and repair strategies with guidance from fellow consultants and leaders.
