Job summary

Morley Companies, Inc. is seeking a remote Automotive Consultant to support field service technicians from home, with initial on-site training in Saginaw, Michigan. You will assist with EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain or infotainment repairs using your automotive expertise and access to the latest repair data.

Ideal candidates bring five+ years in a full-service shop, ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain), and strong customer service skills for interaction via calls, chats, and emails.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of recent experience as a mechanic in a full-service shop.
• Two ASE certifications (or you can get them within six months of hire with reimbursement).
• Valid driver’s license.
• One or more years of customer service experience.
• Must be able to work shifts during these hours and no weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist field service techs through inbound and outbound phone, chat and email.
• Specialize in automotive EV, engine, electrical, drivetrain or infotainment systems.
• Training program in Saginaw, Michigan to support field techs from your home office.
• Access to latest technical data and repair strategies with guidance from consultants and leaders.
