Job summary
Automotive Technology Experts seeks a Remote Service Technician Lead to guide Remote Service Technicians in delivering timely vehicle diagnostics and technical support. This non-supervisory role partners with the Manager of Remote Service to identify trends and drive improvements.
You will mentor technicians, assist with complex issues, ensure service quality, and maintain high customer satisfaction through effective communication and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years in automotive diagnostics, vehicle repair, or related technical field.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools and OEM tools.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance to Remote Service Technicians and promote quality and productivity.
- Assist with complex diagnostic and programming issues and troubleshoot service requests.
- Document services performed and customer interactions in designated systems.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to improve service delivery.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training for technicians and share best practices.
