Job summary

ATE - Automotive Technology Experts is seeking a Remote Service Technician Lead to provide day-to-day technical guidance and support to Remote Service Technicians. You will troubleshoot complex diagnostic issues, assist with escalations, and promote high service quality while collaborating with internal teams.

The role emphasizes diagnosing, programming, and customer-facing support, with a focus on productive operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of automotive diagnostics experience including diagnostic tools.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostic procedures and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to guide and support other technicians.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance and support to Remote Service Technicians, promoting consistent service quality and productivity.
• Serve as a technical resource for complex diagnostic and programming issues, assisting with troubleshooting and escalations.
• Provide expert diagnostic and technical support for technicians and customers via telephone and supported equipment.
• Monitor day-to-day service activity and identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Document services performed and customer interactions in designated systems.
• Promote first-time resolution by collaborating with technicians on diagnostic solutions.
• Assist with technician onboarding, knowledge sharing, and training.
