Job summary

UAIC is seeking a Third-Party Adverse Auto Subrogation Adjuster to investigate liability claims and negotiate settlements with adverse carriers or counsel. The role collaborates with internal teams and adheres to regulatory requirements while maintaining timely subrogation action from a remote Southeast region.

The candidate will review damages, gather documentation, and communicate the basis for demands with clarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in subrogation, claims adjusting, or related field in P&C insurance.
• In-depth knowledge of subrogation principles and liability concepts.
• Strong negotiation and investigative abilities; proficient with MS Office and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Review claims to establish liability and analyze subrogation demands.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and review reports and estimates.
• Engage in negotiations with adverse carriers, insurers, and attorneys to reach settlements.
• Maintain detailed records and regular progress updates for management.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
