Job summary

Great American Insurance Group's Strategic Comp arm is seeking a Senior Subrogation Specialist for a fully remote role. You will identify, investigate, and pursue subrogation opportunities in workers’ compensation and commercial auto, collaborating with claims, legal, and insureds to maximize recoveries.

Candidates should have 10+ years of multi-jurisdictional subrogation experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of commercial subrogation experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Licensed adjuster(s) for Workers' Compensation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue workers' compensation and commercial auto subrogation opportunities.
• Analyze liability, causation, damages, and recovery potential.
• Partner with adjusters to preserve subrogation rights across claims.
• Coordinate with attorneys and other stakeholders to maximize recoveries.
• Prepare notices and documentation to protect recovery interests.
• Negotiate settlements to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Manage multi-jurisdictional cases with deadlines and compliance.
