The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an Auto Physical Damage Adjuster to manage moderately complex auto claims from intake to resolution. This remote role requires occasional travel to multiple office locations and ongoing license maintenance.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with opportunities to collaborate with underwriting, legal, and other stakeholders. You will investigate, evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and maintain precise claim records while providing excellent customer

Formación

• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred or combination of education and experience.
• Typically 3–4 years of Auto claim-handling experience.
• Guidewire experience is a plus.
• Proficient with basic computer navigation and MS Office; knowledge of insurance products.
• Ability to negotiate within authority and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of moderately complex service claims from intake through resolution.
• Conduct thorough investigations, assess liability, and evaluate damages.
• Engage underwriting, legal, and stakeholders for comprehensive investigation and evaluation.
• Identify and refer suspicious claims to the Special Investigation Unit.
• Set reserves and authorize payments within scope of authority.
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of claim activities and communications.
