Job summary

Veros Credit, LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist (60 Days) to service auto loan accounts that are 60 days delinquent, documenting all collection activities in our loan servicing system. In-office positions are available in Santa Ana, CA and Ontario, CA, with California-based remote work for eligible employees.

You will follow FDCPA guidelines, negotiate payment arrangements, and help borrowers develop plans to keep their vehicle while meeting loan obligations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the collections field, preferably in subprime consumer lending.
• Reinstatements experience is a plus.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and FDCPA.
• Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers and propose alternative payment methods.
• Assist borrowers in devising a strategy to keep their vehicle while meeting loan obligations.
• Accurately document account information and collection activities.
• Utilize skip tracing tools to locate delinquent borrowers.
• Other duties as assigned.
