Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative, Auto, to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. This telecommuter role supports clients nationwide, focusing on accurate damage assessment and prompt claim resolution.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and state licenses as needed; you will negotiate claims, manage subrogation where appropriate, and maintain strong client relations while meeting deadlines.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Secure and maintain the State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review and assess Property Damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses to negotiate first/third party claims.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.

Aufgaben

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and codes files.
• Develops action plans to meet state contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies and pursues subrogation opportunities; secures and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and performs coverage/damage analysis on assignments.
• Performs other duties and travels as required; supports quality programs.
