Job summary

Sedgwick, a global leader in risk and claims management, is seeking a Claims Representative for Auto and General Liability property damage. You will analyze and process auto and liability claims, develop action plans to meet deadlines, pursue subrogation, and maintain strong client communications while supporting Sedgwick’s quality programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with auto and general liability property damage claims.
• Ability to review estimates and negotiate first/third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims.
• Develop and maintain action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities; secure and dispose of salvage.
• Communicate claim action with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintain professional client relations and perform coverage/damage analysis on claims.
• Travel as required and support quality programs.
