Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a dedicated claims professional to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims. The role focuses on accurate assessment, timely payments, and proper documentation of files, with opportunities to pursue subrogation and salvage, while maintaining strong client relations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and state adjusting licenses as required, with solid knowledge of property damage processing and an emphasis on meeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; State adjusting licenses as required for the position.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review Property Damage estimates and negotiate claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing and salvage forms.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims and documents files.
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files to resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities and disposes of salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations and performs coverage and damage analyses.
• Supports the organization’s quality programs and travels as required.
