Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Representative for Auto to analyze and process auto and general liability property damage claims across a remote national footprint. The role emphasizes thorough damage assessment, timely payments, and precise documentation to support compliant, efficient resolutions.

Responsibilities include loss evaluation, subrogation opportunities, and clear communication with insureds, clients, and brokers, while maintaining strong client relations and contributing to quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; State adjusting licenses as required.
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
• Ability to review property damage estimates and negotiate first and third party claims.
• Knowledge of total loss processing, salvage forms and title requirements, preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
• Analytical and interpretive skills; strong organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment; meet service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Processes auto and general liability property damage claims; assesses damage, makes payments, and ensures claim files are documented and coded.
• Develops action plans to meet state required contract deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation opportunities; secures salvage.
• Communicates claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Maintains professional client relations.
• Performs coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all claims assignments.
• Supports the organization's quality programs; travels as required.
