Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of claim handling experience preferred.
• Industry training/designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate coverage and liability of claims.
• Analyze information to evaluate loss and negligence.
• Process inquiries from insureds and claimants; coordinate with underwriters and agents.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims within delegated authority.
• Update claims system to reflect file status and negligence charges.
• Prepare and manage expense reimbursements and releases; assist in settlements.
