State Farm seeks an Auto Estimator for a Remote-Field role based in West Seattle, WA. You will collect vehicle details, perform initial and supplemental estimates, and support insureds through the claims process with Remarkable service.

You may work from home for virtual estimates or in-person at body shops, requiring a valid license and MVR checks. Candidates should reside within commutable distance to West Seattle and be ready for flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto collision repair, auto damage estimating, or auto insurance appraiser roles.
• Exceptional customer service, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interactions with customers and shops.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple technical platforms and systems.
• Accountability, resourcefulness, and adaptability in a dynamic claims environment.

Responsibilities

• Use automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimates.
• Provide technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issues.
• Apply knowledge of market value and reparability factors.
• Evaluate bid content, photos, and causation issues for vehicle damage.
• Communicate with customers and repair shops via inbound/outbound calls.
• Deliver remarkable customer service through the claims process.
• Interact with stakeholders who may express strong emotions during inspections or resolutions.
