State Farm is seeking an Auto Estimator to collect vehicle information and prepare initial and supplemental estimates via photos or in person. You may be the first contact for insureds, explain coverage, estimate damage, and help them through the claims process while providing Remarkable service.

This is a Remote-Field role based in Owensboro, KY, blending work from home with mobile in-person appointments at body shops.

Qualifications

• Auto collision repair or auto insurance estimating experience.
• Strong customer service, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to multi-task on technical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collect vehicle information from shops or customers and prepare initial and supplemental estimates.
• Explain coverage to insureds and guide them through the claims process while delivering Remarkable service.
• Use automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimates and support claim handlers.
• Evaluate vehicle damage, causation, and bid content from photos or in-person inspections.
• Answer inbound calls and contact customers and repair shops as needed.
• Maintain composure with emotional discussions during inspections or resolutions.
