Novogradac & Company LLP in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Principal/Partner-track auditor to oversee audit engagements, perform technical reviews, and mentor staff. The role emphasizes supervision, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards within a collaborative Partner group.

The candidate should hold a CPA and bring 15+ years of public accounting audit experience, with strong technical knowledge and clear communication to Partners and clients. Domestic travel may be required.

Formación

• 15+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• CPA license required.
• Advanced technical understanding of auditing and accounting standards.
• Ability to communicate complex audit matters clearly to Partners and clients.
• Strong analytical and supervisory judgment.
• Detail-oriented with solid documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assume responsibility for assigned audit engagements and technical review responsibilities, including planning, staffing, timing, technical issues, review comments, documentation quality, and timely completion of assigned work in coordination with the Partner group.
• Conduct thorough technical engagement reviews, including review of financial statements, audit workpapers, significant audit areas, documentation of conclusions, and resolution of complex technical matters.
• Supervise and mentor professional staff, including guiding and educating them in technical areas, identifying professional development opportunities and maintaining a respectful team atmosphere.
• Apply technical knowledge to identify and support high value-added opportunities for existing Firm clients.
• Support the Firm’s technical reputation by participating in internal trainings, client trainings, technical discussions, publications, or similar activities as requested.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients through professionalism, responsiveness, technical competence, and service-oriented approach.
