Hearst Magazines’ Bring a Trailer brand is seeking a Production Specialist to guide sellers from submission to successful auction experiences. You’ll prepare listings, coordinate updates, and serve as the main contact with a focus on clear, professional communication.

The role emphasizes strong writing, meticulous organization, and a customer-first approach, with remote work eligibility and collaboration across disciplines to optimize listing quality and auction outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in customer support, content production, technical writing, automotive services, or related field (or equivalent)
• Strong writing and editing skills with ability to present detailed information clearly and accurately
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset and professional communication style
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Discretion with sensitive information and ability to build trust with stakeholders
• Interest in collector cars and automotive culture; hands-on automotive experience is a plus
• Adaptable, proactive, and eager to support evolving team and business needs

Responsibilities

• Prepare auction listings by organizing seller-submitted data and photos according to Bring a Trailer standards
• Coordinate with sellers and internal teams to incorporate updates and ensure listing accuracy
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sellers during the pre-auction phase with timely communication
• Provide high-quality customer support by answering questions and addressing concerns with empathy
• Manage a high-volume pipeline of listings at various stages to meet daily production goals
• Track listings through internal systems and act as subject-matter expert on listing history
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth transition from listing creation to auction launch
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements as needed
